ASCEND (Achieve. Strive. Conquer. Excel. Navigate. Dream) is a Maryland-based nonprofit founded in Hagerstown, serving individuals in Hagerstown, Baltimore, and surrounding counties. We provide resources, guidance, and support to help individuals reenter society and build a foundation for lasting success.

In 2018, founder Troy Ferguson envisioned an organization rooted in his firsthand understanding of the challenges of reentry. He recognized the importance of connecting individuals with services tailored to their needs, helping them overcome barriers, rebuild their lives, and become successful contributors to their communities.

Today, Troy’s vision is carried forward by a dedicated team committed to supporting each participant throughout their journey. To date, ASCEND reports a 100% success rate, with no recidivism among individuals who have completed the program.
